The purpose of an athletic team is to provide opportunities for evangelism, recreation and fellowship for those who are added to the team at the coachs discretion. One is not required to be a Christian in order to particapte, yet please be aware you will be interacting with Christians and Christian activities by participating in one or all of these sports.
The Christian members of the team will be required to uphold the standards and convictions of the church in behavior, attitude, and demeanor. It should be understood that the highest value of a church sponsored team is not winning, but is representing Jesus Christ before the world.
